Yin yoga class Yin Yoga is a slow-paced, meditative style of yoga that focuses on deep stretches and long-held postures. Unlike more dynamic yoga practices, Yin Yoga targets the deeper connective tissues of the body, such as ligaments, joints, and fascia. This practice involves holding poses for extended periods, typically between 3 to 5 minutes or longer, allowing for a deeper release and greater flexibility. The primary goals of Yin Yoga are to enhance circulation in the joints, improve flexibility, and promote a sense of inner calm and balance. By staying in the poses for longer durations, you can also cultivate mindfulness and meditation, fostering a connection between body and mind. Yin Yoga is ideal for anyone looking to increase flexibility, reduce stress, and find a deeper sense of relaxation and peace. I also include Pranayama breathing technique and Yoga Nidra to conclude the session and offer you the chance to set intentions for the new week ahead. $20/casual class $150/10 classes pass Walk-ins welcome, payment by cash or card available.
